Guess who's coming home?  I'm so excited, I had to post SOMETHING, so for now this is it- real photos later!

Fun at my local Barnes and Noble

So tonight my husband took me out on a little late night date to our local B&N after work. It's always nice going there at night before closing... we can go have fun in the children's section without getting (too many) weird looks or blocking the view of the kids that may be there. Anyway... there's an awesome contest going on there to win those two American Girl dolls. I want them both sooo much! Unfortunately they only have minis for sale there, but fortunately there is an American Girl store in LA, so we'll be going this Friday to (probably) only look around and not buy (much).

I also picked up the recent issue of American Girl magazine. It's cute, but there isn't enough dolls in it to keep my interest, I'll see if my niece wants it.

Oh and on the contest for the dolls- I didn't enter myself but I did enter my niece to the contest (with her mom and dad's permission, of course ^_^)- I really hope she wins!

Long time no post, huh? Well, I'm going to try to at least do one post per day, if only an image... I need to get my blogging mojo back!

Anyhow... What's changed in my doll collection? Not too much... I have a new Volks MSD and a 50cm Obitus- and I'm getting into vinyl girl dolls, like the American Girls (dolls I've always wanted as a kid, but they were too much back then... so now I'm an old lady I can get them for myself XD).

Welcome to my blog!

My site is still out of sorts, but welcome to my new blog! I plan on keeping my Live Journal account, but it will be friends only with only personal things. All doll related posts will be made here from now on.

Long story short, a boo-boo (not on my part) was made and I lost the old database, which means I have to rebuild it again... unfortunately I didn't keep proper notes, so I'll have to research and double check the doll types (or just not put them up with their photos, if I'm feeling lazy, which is looking more and more likely).

I did finally add some photos of my Petite Blythe dolls- this is from a shadow box I made. It's sitting in my kitchen!
